Restaurant Majer'ca - The MICHELIN Bib Gourmand Awarded Restaurant in Bohinj

Restaurant Majer'ca is a place for tasting excellent cuisine and pleasant socializing.
Your well-being will be the center of attention.

Experienced gastronomes chef Timi Rožič and sous-chef Gaj Terseglav with their team create a place where top-quality food brings people together.

 

After many years of seeking experience, Chef Timi Rožič returned to his native Bohinj. He rediscovered his homeland, which led him to choose flavors of the Julian Alps as the main elements of his cooking methods. Bohinj is the source of his ideas, it is his passion, challenge, heritage.  And heritage must be protected.

 

That's why the menu is based on seasonal and local ingredients. It combines mountain tradition and world cuisine. Each dish illustrates the Alps, the efforts of the local farmers, their quality produce and the tradition that is passed down from generation to generation.

Opt for a 3, 4 or 5-course tasting menu. Create it yourself from the seasonal menu. Or you can leave the selection of dishes to the Majer'ce team.

 

How about a glass of good wine? Head sommelier Sebastjan Majcen and sommelier Sven Grager will advise you on the selection of delicacies from our extensive wine store, in which we offer over 65 labels.

 

The restaurant is open to everyone. Friends, acquaintances and strangers who will soon become friends. You can stop by for lunch, dinner, a glass of wine or a coffee. If you're hungry already in the morning, you are invited to our excellent breakfast. You really shouldn't miss it.
